Atrangi Re film, directed by Aanand L Rai and starring Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan, and Dhanush will release on August 6, 2021.
In October 2020, resumed the shooting of the film in Madurai and followed it up in Delhi. AR Rahman is the music composer of the film.

The film is written by Himanshu Sharma and it is produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series, Irshad Kamil is the lyricist for the songs of the film
