- Special plantation drive to be initiated to mark the 400th birth anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur ji
CHANDIGARH, AUGUST 6:
Punjab Forest Minister Mr. Sadhu Singh Dharmsot said that A special plantation drive will be launched at Sri Anandpur Sahib and Baba Bakala dedicated to 400th birth anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
Dharmsot, heading a meeting said that 400 saplings will be planted in every village dedicated to 400th birth anniversary of Guru Sahab.
He asked to put Banners and Hoardings in the state to encourage and engage people with this campaign. He said that every citizen should take responsibility for the sake of the environment. He said that the forest department is providing free saplings to people. He appealed to the social activists, organizations, and youth clubs to take care of these saplings in their areas.
