Punjab News 24, Chandigarh: The Education Department, Punjab, has asked the candidates found eligible against the vacancies out of 6060 Master Cadre posts to collect their offer letters by 25th September, 2017 on any working day from the office of the DPI (Secondary Education). It is worth mentioning that these candidates were not able to attend the function held on 5th September, 2017 at the multipurpose stadium Sector-78, Mohali when the other candidates were handed over the offer letters.
Disclosing this here today, the DPI (Secondary Education) Mr. Paramjit Singh said that under the guidance of the Education Minister Mrs. Aruna Chaudhary and the instructions of Secretary, Mr. Krishan Kumar, necessary measures are being promulgated to fill up the backlog of teachers so as to strengthen the academic infrastructure in the state. He also said that in case any candidate doesn’t collects his/her offer letter by the above mentioned date, then no another chance would be given and it would be assumed that the candidate is not interested in the job.
It is also worth noting that the merit list of the eligible candidates was displayed on the departmental website on 1.09.2017 and 4.09.2017.
