Actor Rakul Preet Singh says she speaks Telugu better than her mother tongue Punjabi and she would like to speak her own Telugu lines in films. \u201cThe one thing I\u2019d really like to do in 2018 is to speak my own lines on Telugu. Do you know I\u2019m so fluent in Telugu now, I speak the language better than I speak Punjabi. So far I\u2019ve only dubbed my own lines for one Telugu film,\u201d Rakul said.<\/p>\n
But she doesn\u2019t want to talk about \u201cSpyder\u201d, which was shot in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t want to speak about \u2018Spyder\u2019. Not because I am embarrassed about its under-performance. But it\u2019s just not an experience I enjoyed. I did it for the pleasure of working with A.R. Murugadoss Sir, and I\u2019d do it again any time. But Sorry I really don\u2019t want to say anything more about this,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Is Rakul disappointed by the male-dominated scripts in south Indian languages?<\/p>\n
\u201cNot the least. They aren\u2019t all about the men. In fact, my other 2017 release \u2018Jaya Janaki Nayaka\u2019 featured me in a pivotal role,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
