\nDr Mohammed Shafiq Alam, Senior Research Engineer, Department of Processing and Food Engineering, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has added another feather to his cap by getting another National Award \u201cCommendation Medal Award 2017\u201d from Indian Society of Agricultural Engineers (ISAE) in recognition of his outstanding contributions to post harvest process and food engineering. Sh Parshottam Khodabhai Rupala, Union Minister of State for Panchayati Raj, Agriculture and Farmers\u2019 Welfare, presented this award to Dr Alam during the \u201c52nd Annual Convention of ISAE and National Symposium on Doubling Farmers\u2019 Income through Technological Interventions,\u201d held at Anand Agricultural University, Gujarat, from January 8-10, 2018.
\nDr Baldev Singh Dhillon, Vice-Chancellor, PAU; Dr J.S. Mahal, Dean, College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology; Dr N.S. Bains, Director of Research and Dr A. K. Singh, Head, Department of Processing and Food Engineering, congratulated Dr Alam for this achievement.
\nDr Alam has many prestigious awards to his credit such as Award of Honour by AFST (I) Punjab Chapter, Young Scientist Award by Punjab Academy of Sciences, Lal Bahadur Shastri Outstanding Young Scientist Award by ICAR, Shiksha Rattan Puraskar by India International Friendship Society, Distinguished Service Certificate Award by ISAE, Kunwar Saxena Bahadur SRDA Award, etc. Dr Alam has excellent academic and professional record.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
