The Finance Ministry said one crore taxpayers<\/p>\n<p>have been registered under GST so far.<\/p>\n<p>Of them, over 17 lakh are Composition Dealers, which are required to file returns every quarter. It further added, over 56 lakh GSTR 3B returns have been filed<\/p>\n<p>for the month of December till Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry said a total of over 8 lakh returns were filed by Composition Dealers for the July-September, quarter, paying a total of around 336 crore rupees as<\/p>\n<p>GST.<\/p>\n<p>It also said, 9.25 lakh returns were filed by Composition Dealers, paying a sum of over 421 crore rupees during October- December quarter.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The government has collected 86,703 crore rupees under Goods and Services Tax (GST) in the last month.
