Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal today demanded a case should be registered against the Gandhi family for<\/p>\n
engineering the massacre of thousands of Sikhs in Delhi and in other parts of the country following release of evidence to this effect in a sting operation<\/p>\n
conducted on genocide perpetrator Jagdish Tytler.<\/p>\n
Reacting to the release of video evidence in which Jagdish Tytler openly brags that he was behind the murder of 100 Sikhs in Delhi in 1984 besides boasting<\/p>\n
that he had been promised a Rajya Sabha seat or chief ministership of Delhi by the Congress high command, the SAD President said both disclosures proved<\/p>\n
the Gandhi family\u2019s direct involvement in the 1984 genocide. \u201cThe video evidence against Tytler which has surfaced today was recorded in December, 2011.<\/p>\n
Tytler was sacked from the union ministry in 2009. The very fact that he is bragging that he was promised a seat in parliament or Chiefministership of Delhi<\/p>\n
proves that he was being offered inducements to stop him from spilling the beans against the Gandhi family. Now it is incumbent that the courts of law ask the<\/p>\n
Gandhi family to explain why it was offering such inducements to a criminal who had the blood of innocent Sikhs on his hands?\u201d<\/p>\n
Mr Badal said videographic evidence had also emerged which explained why the victims of the 1984 massacres were still not getting justice. \u201cTytler is seen<\/p>\n
boasting about manipulating inquiries as well as flaunting his close relations with the judiciary and even admitting that his son\u2019s company had an account in a<\/p>\n
Swiss bank. He also flaunts his financial strength by stating that he had given up Rs 150 crore owed to him by his friends. All this was possible only because of<\/p>\n
the political shelter being given to him by the Gandhi family\u201d, he added.<\/p>\n
Stating that time had now run out for Tytler finally, the SAD president said he should be arrested immediately and tried for the murder of 100 Sikhs in Delhi.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere should not be any delay on this account as he had confessed to this crime. He even drove Rajiv Gandhi around Delhi in the aftermath of the massacre<\/p>\n
according to his earlier self admission. Simultaneously the courts should probe the role of the Gandhi family which clearly conspired to strike out against the<\/p>\n
