{"id":21134,"date":"2018-02-07T11:50:25","date_gmt":"2018-02-07T11:50:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/punjabnews24.com\/?p=21134"},"modified":"2018-02-07T11:50:25","modified_gmt":"2018-02-07T11:50:25","slug":"rs-10-coin-production-suspended-on-adequate-stocks-says-govt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/rs-10-coin-production-suspended-on-adequate-stocks-says-govt\/","title":{"rendered":"Rs 10 coin production suspended on adequate stocks, says govt"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Production of Rs 10 coins has been halted temporarily due to adequate stocks, the government informed the Lok Sabha.<\/p>\n<p>There is no plan to stop production of coins, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said in a written reply dated February 2 and made available today.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe production of Rs 10 coins has been halted temporarily as adequate stocks are available,\u201d he said, adding that \u201cthere is no perceptible\u201d decline in demand of coins in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Sufficient stocks of coins are available to meet public demand, the minister said.<\/p>\n<p>Jaitley also said that the Reserve Bank of India and banks are taking all measures to ensure availability of coins to public across the counters and through \u2018coin melas\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>There was no sitting of the Lok Sabha on February 2 in view of the death of BJP MP Chintaman Vanga on January 30.<\/p>\n<p>The Lok Sabha was also adjourned yesterday after paying tributes to BJP member Hukum Singh, who died on Saturday.<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Production of Rs 10 coins has been halted temporarily due to adequate stocks, the government informed the Lok Sabha.
