{"id":21203,"date":"2018-02-07T12:35:23","date_gmt":"2018-02-07T12:35:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/punjabnews24.com\/?p=21203"},"modified":"2018-02-07T12:35:23","modified_gmt":"2018-02-07T12:35:23","slug":"rajya-sabha-chairman-naidu-expresses-anguish-over-forced-disruption-by-some-parties","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/rajya-sabha-chairman-naidu-expresses-anguish-over-forced-disruption-by-some-parties\/","title":{"rendered":"Rajya Sabha Chairman Naidu expresses anguish over &#8220;forced disruption&#8221; by some parties"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday expressed deep concern over the negative public perception of the House because of forced and frequent adjournments.<\/p>\n<p>Naidu said his intention behind long adjournments was to promote a sense of collective responsibility among members to minimise forced disruptions.<\/p>\n<p>He also expressed concern over the &#8220;negative public perception&#8221; that was being created by these disruptions which were adversely impacting the image and credibility of the House.<\/p>\n<p>While the opposition alleged that their voices were being muzzled, Naidu clearly stated that any issue can be taken up, provided the right procedure is followed.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the Congress and a few other opposition members staged a walkout over the claim that their voices were being muzzled.<\/p>\n<p>Leader of Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley also hit out at the opposition, telling them to raise issues in the House instead of running away.
