The Srinagar-Jammu national highway, connecting the Kashmir valley with the rest of the country, has been closed on Monday following fresh snowfall and<\/p>\n
slippery road conditions.<\/p>\n
Snowfall continues at Jawhar tunnel, Shaitan Nallah and Qazigund. The Border Roads Organization is working towards maintenance of the highway.<\/p>\n
Breaking the nearly two-month long dry spell, rain lashed the plains of Jammu and Kashmir while moderate to heavy snowfall has been reported from the higher<\/p>\n

As Delhi and its adjoining areas reeled under a cold wave, as many as 12 trains were cancelled and four were rescheduled due to low visibility on Monday.<\/p>\n
At least 13 trains are arriving late as per the Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO), Northern Railways.<\/p>\n
