{"id":22333,"date":"2018-02-18T11:59:41","date_gmt":"2018-02-18T11:59:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/punjabnews24.com\/?p=22333"},"modified":"2018-02-18T11:59:41","modified_gmt":"2018-02-18T11:59:41","slug":"cong-promoted-gitanjali-firm-bjp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/cong-promoted-gitanjali-firm-bjp\/","title":{"rendered":"Cong promoted Gitanjali firm: BJP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>New Delhi,<br \/>\nCountering the Congress\u2019 charge that the PNB fraud took place under the BJP government, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today said Rahul Gandhi was present at a promotional event of Gitanjali Jewels and that the fraud took place during the UPA regime.<\/p>\n<p>The BJP underlined that Congress president Rahul Gandhi participated in the promotional event of Gitanjali Jewels in September 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Sitharaman said: \u201cThe Congress is wrongly blaming us\u201d, as it was they who let out a building to Nirav Modi\u2019s Firestar Diamond International, acquired from Advait Holdings, which had Anita Singhvi\u2014wife of Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi\u2014as one of its directors.<\/p>\n<p>She said the company had been operating from the building located in Mumbai for the past seven years.
