The top Court<\/p>\n<p>noted that there were no grounds to presume that the Presidential Decree issued on 5 February 2018 was in contravention of the Constitution of the Maldives.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the Supreme Court has put a stay on its earlier ruling of February 1 to reinstate 12 parliamentarians who have lost their seats. Maldives government<\/p>\n<p>under President Abdullah Yameen had imposed 15- day emergency on 5th of this month and arrested chief justice and another judge of Supreme court on<\/p>\n<p>charges of trying to overthrow the government.<\/p>\n<p>Parliament to meet for an extraordinary session on Monday.
