Chandigarh:
\nFormer state BJP chief and party\u2019s National executive member, Kamal Sharma today said that party\u2019s victory in North-Eastern states, especially Tripura, is the victory of development agenda & Ideology pushed forward by Prime Minister Narendra Modi led NDA government at the Centre.<\/p>\n
In a statement issued here, Sharma stated that the BJP forming governments in North-Eastern states was not less than a historic moment in the political history of the country as these states were strongholds of the Congress and the Left parties.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s a big defeat of the negative agenda being spread by the Congress against the Modi government and the anti-national thought process of the left parties, Sharma said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe tremendous response for the BJP, especially in Tripura, is also a stamp that the people of the country have rejected the anti-RSS chorus of the Congress and the left,\u201d said Sharma.<\/p>\n
He said BJP government led by the Prime Minister believed in equal development of all regions and this was the prime reason why the people of North-East, like other parts of the India, have also reposed faith in the BJP,\u201d said Sharma.<\/p>\n
The wrong policies of the Congress and the Left, as these two parties have mostly ruled the region, were responsible for the lack of development in this region, said Sharma.<\/p>\n
