{"id":23745,"date":"2018-03-04T12:05:20","date_gmt":"2018-03-04T12:05:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/punjabnews24.com\/?p=23745"},"modified":"2018-03-04T12:05:20","modified_gmt":"2018-03-04T12:05:20","slug":"pnb-fraud-nbw-issued-against-nirav-mehul","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/pnb-fraud-nbw-issued-against-nirav-mehul\/","title":{"rendered":"PNB fraud: NBW issued against Nirav, Mehul"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A special court in Mumbai has issued non-bailable warrants against diamond traders Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi in the alleged Rs 12,700-crore Punjab National Bank scam.<\/p>\n<p>The court, set up under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act issued the NBWs on applications filed by the Enforcement Directorate.<\/p>\n<p>The court also allowed the ED&#8217;s application seeking Letters of Rogatory to seven countries &#8211; Malaysia, Armenia, France, China, Japan, Russia and Belgium &#8211; in connection with the case.<\/p>\n<p>The ED had earlier issued summonses to Modi and Choksi, both key accused in the scam cases, asking them to appear before the central agency.
