\nChief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar held a meeting with 400 booth-level party workers and MLAs of the district at Shri Krishna Mandir in Sector-14 here on Thursday. He also met prominent persons of the city at Central Soil Salinity Research Institute and took feedback on the govern-\u0007ment\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n
Sources with the party said the meeting was held after feedback given by BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya. It is claimed that resentment prevailed among the party workers for not being given respect by the CMO and the party leaders.<\/p>\n
The CM reportedly exhorted party workers to prepare for Lok Sabha and Assembly elections next year and update masses about the government\u2019s people-friendly policies.<\/p>\n
The CM was accompanied by Minister of State for Mining Nayab Saini among others. Later, talking to mediapersons, Khattar said the opposition leaders were misleading the people on the issue of SYL canal and Swaminathan report, while the government had already implemented 10 recommendations of the report so far.<\/p>\n
He informed the party workers on a new scheme under which information about the Central and state policies will be provided at Saral Kendras.<\/p>\n
The scheme will be launched on the birth anniversary of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar on April 14.<\/p>\n
The CM also inspected the Saral Kendra being constructed at Nilokheri.<\/p>\n
He also interacted with artistes of Haryanvi film \u2018Choriya Choro se Kam Nahi\u2019 by noted film director and actor Satish Kaushik at a hotel here.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
