\nPunjab Skill Development Mission in collaboration with District Bureaus of Employment and Enterprises (DBEE) & Regional Institute of English (RIE), has initiated a District Level project for the development of soft skills in the youth of the state to enable them for the competition in the job market. A special course content of 120 hours has been developed by professionally qualified RIE teachers for this project.<\/p>\n
Revealing this here today, an official spokesman of Punjab Government said that this project has been implemented in all 22 districts of Punjab and admissions are open with flexible timings for this course. \u201cThere will be two levels of course. Level 1 is a basic course for the candidates having education level of class 10th. Level 2 is the Advanced Course for the Candidates having diploma after class 10th or graduation. The main motive of the course is to improve the communication skills, presentation skills & other professional skills required to begin a successful career\u201d, he added.<\/p>\n
Spokesman further said that one such center has been inaugurated at ITI (Boys), Nabha Road, Patiala by Mrs. Bhawna Garg, Secretary, Technical Education & Industrial Training cum Mission Director, Punjab Skill Development Mission to mark the launch of an exclusive course on soft skills which many jobseekers including those professionally qualified are in dire need of.<\/p>\n
Describing the enrolment process for this course, Spokesman said that all the interested candidates may enrol online on http:\/\/psdm.gov.in or approach district bureau to enrol in this course.
