\nChief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar held a roadshow in the NIT area of the city Saturday evening. Hundreds of BJP activists and supporters participated in it. The roadshow that began around 5.20 pm from the Banke Bihari Mandir on the Railway road of the NIT covered 8 km before culminating at the Hanuman Mandir on the National Highway\u20133 around 8 pm.<\/p>\n
It mainly passed through the Badkhal Assembly constituency represented by BJP MLA Seema Trikha. A party spokesman said that the main aim of the roadshow was to highlight the balanced and speedy development of all 90 Assembly segments of the state in the past about four years. Seema Trikha, who is said to have hosted the roadshow, had recently claimed that the government had allocated and spent funds to the tune of hundreds of crores in every constituency and Badkhal is one of them.<\/p>\n
Almost every road in her constituency had either been repaired or relaid. Besides, other works aimed at improving the civic infrastructure had been carried out, she said. Senior party leaders, including Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Krishan Pal Gurjar and Haryana\u2019s Environment and Industries Minister Vipul Goel accompanied the Chief Minister\u2019s roadshow.
