Following the weather department’s warning, the Delhi government has decided to close all evening schools across the national capital on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
It has also asked other schools to not hold outdoor activities and extra-curricular activities from 3 pm to 7 pm during which wind speed is expected to remain high. The India Meteorological Department has issued a warning about weather condition over some parts of north west India for Tuesday and Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Tthe weather condition will improve in north west India Wednesday onwards.<\/p>\n
HARYANA
\nSchools in Haryana have been closed for 7-8 May after the met department issued a warning of rain and thunderstorm<\/p>\n
DELHI-NCR
\nThe IMD has forecast rain and thunderstorm for 13 states including Delhi-NCR. The past week saw the death of nearly a 100 people and injury to 300 others in 5 states due to inclement weather.<\/p>\n
HIMACHAL PRADESH
\nThe state might experience heavy rains from the 6th -8th May while Shimla, Solan, hamirpur , Mandi , Kangra and UNa could face stormy winds on the May 7 and 8.<\/p>\n
PUNJAB
\nWarning has been issued of a likelihood of rain and fierce winds in the next 48-72 hours.<\/p>\n
UTTARAKHAND
\nThe state winessed severe damage to property in just 15 minutes of fierce winds and heavy rains with trees being uprooted and roofs of many homes overturned. According to the MeT depertmentt there could be hail and thunderstorms in many parts of the state.<\/p>\n
Warning of severe bad weather has been issued for Western UP as well.<\/p>\n
