{"id":31231,"date":"2018-05-16T11:50:21","date_gmt":"2018-05-16T11:50:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/punjabnews24.com\/?p=31231"},"modified":"2018-05-16T11:50:21","modified_gmt":"2018-05-16T11:50:21","slug":"melania-goes-under-knife-for-benign-kidney","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/melania-goes-under-knife-for-benign-kidney\/","title":{"rendered":"Melania goes under knife for benign kidney"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Washington,<br \/>\nUS First Lady Melania Trump has undergone surgery for what the White House described as a \u201cbenign kidney condition\u201d and was expected to remain hospitalised for the rest of the week.<\/p>\n<p>Her office said surgeons had performed an embolisation procedure on her at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>A statement was put out by the White House said, \u201cThis morning, First Lady Melania Trump underwent an embolisation procedure to treat a benign kidney condition.\u201d \u201cThe surgery was successful and there were no complications,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n<p>Embolisation is most often used to block the blood supply to a tumour, benign or cancerous.<\/p>\n<p>Melania Trump, 48, is expected to spend the rest of the week recovering at the medical centre, in Bethesda, Maryland. \u201cThe First Lady looks forward to a full recovery so she can continue her work on behalf of children everywhere,\u201d the White House said.
