\nSounding the bugle for the General Election next year, BJP president Amit Shah on Friday directed party leaders in Haryana to fan out among the masses and \u2018expose\u2019 the Congress for \u2018stalling\u2019 the Centre\u2019s legislation in Parliament to give constitutional status to the National Commission for Backward Classes.<\/p>\n
A decision was also taken to counter the Opposition\u2019s \u2018canards and misinformation campaign\u2019 against the NDA government. The meeting was of the view that a \u2018deliberate scurrilous campaign\u2019 had been launched by the Opposition.<\/p>\n
This was stated at a meeting of the Haryana BJP\u2019s election monitoring committee. Goals were set for the party and leaders assigned tasks.<\/p>\n
Sources said Shah took feedback and gleaned vital strategic points to be dovetailed in the party\u2019s electoral plan for the state.<\/p>\n
Giving details, state BJP president Subhash Barala said, \u201cShah expressed satisfaction over the progress report and directed us to further strengthen the organisation from the booth to state levels.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIt has been decided to launch a campaign to expose the double standard of the Congress towards backward classes. It has stabbed them by thwarting legislation piloted by the NDA,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
He clarified that issues pertaining to candidates did not crop up. The election monitoring committee would meet soon to discuss preparations and progress with regard to the parliamentary elections.<\/p>\n
Thrust would be given to ongoing programmes of ministers spending the night \u201cpravas\u201d in the field. They would listen to grievances and strengthen the bridge between government and the party.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
