{"id":35840,"date":"2018-07-01T12:15:08","date_gmt":"2018-07-01T12:15:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/punjabnews24.com\/?p=35840"},"modified":"2018-07-01T12:15:08","modified_gmt":"2018-07-01T12:15:08","slug":"jasprit-bumrah-washington-sundar-out-of-indias-t20-cricket-series-vs-england","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/jasprit-bumrah-washington-sundar-out-of-indias-t20-cricket-series-vs-england\/","title":{"rendered":"Jasprit Bumrah, Washington Sundar out of India\u2019s T20 cricket series vs England"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In a blow to Indian cricket team\u2019s preparations for the challenging tour of England, key pacer Jasprit Bumrah and off-spinner Washington Sundar were on Saturday ruled out of the T20 series, starting Tuesday, due to injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Bumrah sustained an injury to his left thumb while fielding in the first T20 against Ireland in Malahide on Wednesday, and thus will miss the three-match series in England.<\/p>\n<p>Bumrah, a key death-overs bowler, did not take part in the optional nets on Thursday and was benched for the second match on Friday. India had won the series 2-0 with ease.<\/p>\n<p>But ahead of a sterner test against England, it\u2019s a major blow for India.<\/p>\n<p>Bumrah is ranked 10th on ICC\u2019s T20I Bowlers\u2019 ranking lost and along with leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is among the only two bowlers in the top-ten of T20I rankings.<\/p>\n<p>He, though, is expected to be fit in time for the three-match ODI series that begins in Nottingham on July 12.<\/p>\n<p>Sundar has been ruled out of the T20 series owing to a right ankle injury.
