{"id":36017,"date":"2018-07-03T12:55:04","date_gmt":"2018-07-03T12:55:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/punjabnews24.com\/?p=36017"},"modified":"2018-07-03T12:55:04","modified_gmt":"2018-07-03T12:55:04","slug":"roger-federer-hopes-for-nike-cooperation-in-obtaining-rights-to-rf-brand","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/roger-federer-hopes-for-nike-cooperation-in-obtaining-rights-to-rf-brand\/","title":{"rendered":"Roger Federer hopes for Nike cooperation in obtaining rights to \u2018RF\u2019 brand"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Roger Federer hopes to be reunited with his iconic \u2018RF\u2019 logo as soon as possible after switching kit manufacturer from Nike to Uniqlo.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nike still hold the rights to the \u2018RF\u2019 brand, which appeared on Federer\u2019s clothing during his time with the American supplier.<\/p>\n<p>After opening his Wimbledon defence with a straight-sets win against Dusan Lajovic without his beloved logo, Federer expressed optimism that the rights would soon be returned to him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe \u2018RF\u2019 logo is with Nike at the moment, but it will come to me at some point,\u201d he told a news conference. \u201cI hope sooner rather than later, that Nike can be nice and helpful in the process to bring it over to me.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s also something that was very important for me, for the fans really.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s the process. But the good news is that it will come with me at one point.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey are my initials. They are mine. The good thing is it\u2019s not theirs forever. In a short period of time, it will come to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Uniqlo deal will reportedly last 10 years, taking Federer up to the age of 46 and surely long after he has retired from the sport.<\/p>\n<p>But the eight-time Wimbledon champion is still on the lookout for a shoe supplier.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t have a shoe deal. I\u2019m looking forward to seeing what shoes I will be wearing in the near future,\u201d he added. \u201cFor now, I will be wearing Nike. They have shown interest to have a shoe deal with me, as well.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTies are not broken there. I have deep roots with Nike. I\u2019ve had a great relationship over the last 20 years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut everything is open.
