\nChief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday reached Saha block in Ambala district for his \u201cchai pe charcha\u201d session and interacted with local BJP leaders and workers.<\/p>\n
He called upon party workers to propagate government\u2019s public welfare and self-employment schmes. \u201cThe Centre has made the highest increase in the minimum support price of crops. The economy depends on agriculture and the prosperity of farmers will strengthen the economy. Haryana\u2019s farmers would gain by Rs 1,400 crore from the Centre\u2019s decision,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
On Mullana MLA Santosh Sarwan\u2019s demand that Saha gram panchayat would be upgraded to a municipality, the Chief Minister said if the panchayat fulfilled the norms, it would be given the status of a municipality.<\/p>\n
Khattar also visited Patarehri village and Magharpura villages under his campaign.<\/p>\n
He told the media, \u201cParty workers are part of my family and meeting them is my job. In the past three-and-a-half years, policies for the state\u2019s development were framed and implemented. Now is the time to take feedback from party workers and the public about the schemes.\u201d<\/p>\n
