{"id":37175,"date":"2018-07-24T12:27:08","date_gmt":"2018-07-24T12:27:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/?p=37175"},"modified":"2018-07-24T12:27:08","modified_gmt":"2018-07-24T12:27:08","slug":"justice-tahira-to-be-first-pak-woman-cj","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/justice-tahira-to-be-first-pak-woman-cj\/","title":{"rendered":"Justice Tahira to be first Pak woman CJ"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lahore<br \/>\nJustice Syeda Tahira Safdar will be the Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court, Pakistan\u2019s top judge announced today, paving way for her to become first woman chief justice of any court in conservative Muslim-majority nation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMadam Tahira Safdar will be the next chief justice of BHC,\u201d Chief Justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar said at a book launch in Lahore.<\/p>\n<p>Justice Tahira will replace Chief Justice Muhammad Noor Meskanzai, scheduled to retire on August 31. She will work as the CJ till October 5 next year.<\/p>\n<p>She is part of a three-judge special court, hearing the high treason case against former military ruler Pervez Musharraf.
