{"id":38871,"date":"2018-08-11T11:44:14","date_gmt":"2018-08-11T11:44:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/?p=38871"},"modified":"2018-08-11T11:44:14","modified_gmt":"2018-08-11T11:44:14","slug":"centre-to-provide-all-assistance-to-flood-hit-kerala-home-minister","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/centre-to-provide-all-assistance-to-flood-hit-kerala-home-minister\/","title":{"rendered":"Centre to provide all assistance to flood-hit Kerala: Home Minister"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Centre will provide all possible help to flood-hit Kerala, Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday assured the MPs from the state in the Lok Sabha.<\/p>\n<p>He said he had also sent Kiren Rijiju, his deputy in the ministry, to the state for a survey of the affected areas.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We will provide all necessary assistance to the state,&#8221; Singh told the MPs from Kerala during Zero Hour.<\/p>\n<p>At least 26 people have died in the Idukki district and northern parts due to heavy rains and floods and landslides.<\/p>\n<p>Two more shutters of the Cheruthoni Dam in the state, part of Idukki Reservoir were opened on Friday as the water level touched 2,401 feet.<\/p>\n<p>Two more shutters of Idukki dam were also opened, increasing the water flow into Periyar river to 125 cusecs.<\/p>\n<p>Ten teams of NDRF comprising 45 personnel each have been deployed in Kerala to assist in relief and rescue operations.
