\nFormer Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Friday made a scathing attack on the BJP government in the state and said it had failed on all fronts.<\/p>\n
But when he was asked whether his party would bring a no-confidence motion against the Manohar Lal Khattar government in the coming monsoon session of the state Assembly, Hooda replied that the Congress did not have the numbers and the INLD, he alleged, \u201cwas tacitly supporting the BJP\u201d.<\/p>\n
Addressing mediapersons in the MLA Hostels here on Friday, the former CM alleged that while the Khattar government had failed on all fronts, farmers were the worst affected by its policies.<\/p>\n
In an obvious reference to the Agriculture Minister who danced to the beats of the drum the day the Narendra Modi government announced new MSPs for kharif crops, Hooda said that it was ironical that while farmers were suffering, its ministers were dancing.<\/p>\n
Terming the MSPs announced by the state government as too meagre, the former CM claimed that the hike during the UPA government was much more.<\/p>\n
He alleged that the government was talking about the hike in the MSP but it was not telling people that the input costs had increased manifold.<\/p>\n
Pooh-poohing Khattar for his statement reported in a section of the press that he (Khattar) knew more about agriculture than Hooda because he had irrigated fields in his native village, the former CM said that Khattar\u2019s village Baniyani did not have irrigation water supply.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
