{"id":39765,"date":"2018-08-21T11:51:05","date_gmt":"2018-08-21T11:51:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/?p=39765"},"modified":"2018-08-21T11:51:05","modified_gmt":"2018-08-21T11:51:05","slug":"jet-airways-shares-fall-4-on-reports-of-preliminary-govt-probe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/jet-airways-shares-fall-4-on-reports-of-preliminary-govt-probe\/","title":{"rendered":"Jet Airways shares fall 4% on reports of preliminary govt probe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Shares of Jet Airways today fell nearly 4% in morning trade on bourses after reports surfaced that the Ministry of Corporate Affairs has opened a preliminary inquiry into the carrier.<\/p>\n<p>As per the media reports, the Mumbai Registrar of Companies (RoC) will inspect Jet\u2019s books of accounts.<\/p>\n<p>In a regulatory filing, however, the company on Tuesday said it \u201chas not received any communication from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs in this regard\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The shares of the company opened on a weak note at Rs 297.80, then fell to a low of Rs 289.95, down 3.73% over its previous closing price.<\/p>\n<p>Similar movement was seen on NSE as well, where the stock opened at Rs 297.40, then fell to a low of Rs 289.65, down 3.89% over its last close.<\/p>\n<p>Jet Airways is facing financial stress and on August 9 the company held off from announcing the unaudited financial results for the June quarter.
