India scored through Rupinder Pal Singh (1st minute), Chinglensana Singh (4th), Lalit Upadhyay (15th), Manpreet Singh (49th) and Akashdeep Singh (55th), while Korea\u2019s goals came from the sticks of Manjae Jung (33rd, 35th) and Jonghyun Jang (59th). India lead Pool A with 12 points from four victories. The title holders will play Sri Lanka in their last pool engagement.<br \/>\nSarjubala enters quarters; Manoj, Shiva bow out<br \/>\nSarjubala Devi advanced to the quarterfinals but Manoj Kumar and Shiva Thapa went out after pre-quarterfinal losses in the boxing competition. Sarjubala (51kg) defeated Tajikistan\u2019s Madina Ghaforova 5-0 in a bout that was more gruelling than what the scoreline might suggest. Manoj went out after being bested by Kyrgyzstan\u2019s Abdurakhman Abdurakhamanov in the 69kg category, while Thapa spent less than a minute in the ring before the referee stopped the contest in favour of China\u2019s Jun Shan in the 60kg category. Thapa was knocked down twice before the bout was stopped.<br \/>\nBridge: India wins 2 bronze<\/p>\n<p>India settled for two bronze medals in bridge after the men\u2019s and mixed teams lost their semifinal matches. The men\u2019s team lost to Singapore, while the mixed team lost to Thailand.<\/p>\n<p>Golfers draw a blank<br \/>\nIndian golfers frittered away a good start to finish seventh in the men\u2019s team event. Rayhan Thomas (73) and Aadil Bedi (73) ended at tied-13th place, while Kshitij Naveed Kaul (72) ended tied-23rd. Harimohan Singh finished tied-53rd. In the women\u2019s section, Ridhima Dilawari finished tied-17th. Sifat Sagoo (73) and Diksha Dagar (72) were tied-22nd.<br \/>\nTable tennis: Women\u2019s team enters quarterfinals<br \/>\nThe Indian women\u2019s table tennis team reached the quarterfinals. The Indian team comprising Mouma Das, Ayhika Mukherjee and Sutritha Mukherjee defeated Qatar 3-0 in the first match but lost 0-3 to China in the second. India, however, outplayed Iran 3-1 in their next match to join China in the last-8.<\/p>\n<p>Men\u2019s handball team loses<br \/>\nThe Indian men\u2019s handball team lost narrowly to Chinese Taipei in a Group 3 match. India, who had earlier defeated Malaysia and Pakistan, lost 31-35.<\/p>\n<p>Skeet shooters falter<br \/>\nPalembang: India\u2019s shooting campaign ended on a disappointing note after the skeet shooters failed to qualify for the finals.
