{"id":41036,"date":"2018-09-03T11:10:52","date_gmt":"2018-09-03T11:10:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/?p=41036"},"modified":"2018-09-03T11:10:52","modified_gmt":"2018-09-03T11:10:52","slug":"3-yrs-after-quake-nepals-krishna-temple-reopens","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/3-yrs-after-quake-nepals-krishna-temple-reopens\/","title":{"rendered":"3 yrs after quake, Nepal\u2019s Krishna temple reopens"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu<br \/>\nNepal\u2019s famous Krishna temple built in Indian Sikhara style was reopened for the public on Sunday for the first time after three years after a deadly 2015 earthquake that left much of the country\u2019s cultural heritage in ruins.<\/p>\n<p>The 7.8-magnitude earthquake that hit on April 25 killed more than 8,700 people and levelled homes and monuments in the valley, home to three former kingdoms of Patan, Kathmandu and Bhaktapur. Thousands of devotees thronged to the 17th century temple of Lord Krishna situated in Lalitpur Municipality of Kathmandu from early Sunday morning. The artistic temple built by Siddhi Narsingh Malla of Lalitpur was partially damaged during the earthquake.<\/p>\n<p>The renovation of the stone temple was recently completed. It has been decorated with colourful flags, banners and light.
