Bollywood stars Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit are coming back together on the big screens after a gap of 21 years with Kalank. The movie is being helmed by Abhishek Varman and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Kalank is backed by a stellar star cast including Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Kunal Kemmu and Hiten Tejwani.<\/p>\n
Sanju and Madhuri have scenes together in the drama for which they recently shot together, a report in Mumbai Mirror claims. So what happened when the two came face-to-face during the shoot?<\/p>\n
Interestingly, there was no awkwardness or hiccups as the actors completed the task at hand like thorough professionals.<\/p>\n
\u201cSanjay and Madhuri shot a couple of dramatic sequences together over three days with co-stars Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. While Varun\u2019s portions were wrapped up in two days, Alia was present on the set for a day after which she headed to Bulgaira to resume work with Ranbir Kapoor on Ayan Mukerji\u2019s ‘Brahmastra,’\u201d a source told the tabloid.<\/p>\n
While Sanju reportedly essays the role of a king, Madhuri plays a courtesan in the film and we\u2019re likely to have a \u2018Maar Daala\u2019-like track as well.<\/p>\n
Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit were amongst the most loved onscreen couples of all time with movies like Saajan (1991) and Khalnayak (1993) becoming blockbusters. Not only co-stars, the actors were also rumoured to be in a relationship until Dutt got embroiled in the 1993 Mumbai Blasts case.
