{"id":41445,"date":"2018-09-07T11:19:04","date_gmt":"2018-09-07T11:19:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/?p=41445"},"modified":"2018-09-07T11:19:04","modified_gmt":"2018-09-07T11:19:04","slug":"jet-pilots-warn-of-non-cooperation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/jet-pilots-warn-of-non-cooperation\/","title":{"rendered":"Jet pilots warn of \u2018non-cooperation\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mumbai<br \/>\nWith Jet Airways delaying salaries of its pilots and engineers for the second consecutive month amid a severe financial crunch, its pilots have warned the management of \u201cnon-cooperation\u201d over default on payments.<\/p>\n<p>The Naresh Goyal-promoted private airline, in which UAE national carrier Etihad holds 24 per cent stake, is facing an acute cash crunch after posting two back-to back quarterly losses this year. While its losses stood at Rs 1,036 crore in the March quarter, the losses jumped to Rs 1,300 crore crore in the subsequent June quarter of the current fiscal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWithholding salaries, that too without prior notice, is a serious matter and the management will bear sole responsibility for any repercussions,\u201d Jet Airways\u2019 pilots said in a communication to the management earlier this week. \u201cWe would like to advice that failure to address the above points and not paying the salaries on time would lead to non-cooperation by pilots,\u201d they warned.<br \/>\nA Jet Airways\u2019 spokesperson said the management is in talks with the pilots and other members to resolve some issues, including disbursement of salaries.<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mumbai With Jet Airways delaying salaries of its pilots and engineers for the second consecutive month amid a severe financial crunch, its pilots have warned the management of \u201cnon-cooperation\u201d over default on payments.
