Giving further relief to the poor, he said families consuming 50 units per month would be charged at Rs 2 per unit.<br \/>\nWith this, consumers would save Rs 437 per month a 46.6 per cent reduction in their bills. \u201cThe decision will benefit 41.53 lakh domestic consumers. I have fulfilled my promise to bring down power rates,\u201d he said, amid thumping of desks by the treasury benches.<\/p>\n<p>He said in the past four years, his government had taken several welfare initiatives. \u201cWe have made Haryana kerosene-free and launched Saksham Yojna to provide 100-hour guaranteed work to the educated unemployed. Apart from ensuring \u2018educated\u2019 panchayats, we further strengthened the Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs), especially zila parishads, via decentralisation.
