\nJasper Wieck, Deputy Head of Mission, German Embassy, New Delhi, and Thomas Schmidt, called on Governor Satya Pal Malik here on Monday.<\/p>\n
The Governor and Wieck discussed matters relating to strengthening the Indo-German understanding and about various political, economic and social issues relating to J&K, including development of modern infrastructure in various sectors like tourism, energy, aviation, etc, and launching of welfare schemes for the aged, widows, specially abled and other disadvantaged sections of society.<\/p>\n
The Governor informed the Deputy Head of Mission that with a consideration to provide momentum to infrastructure development in the state, the Jammu and Kashmir Infrastructure Development Finance Corporation had been approved for establishment with the authorisation to raise a loan of Rs 8,000 crore for the completion of pending projects.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
