{"id":44908,"date":"2018-10-20T11:58:53","date_gmt":"2018-10-20T11:58:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/?p=44908"},"modified":"2018-10-20T11:58:53","modified_gmt":"2018-10-20T11:58:53","slug":"pesident-pm-modi-attend-dasehra-celebrations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/pesident-pm-modi-attend-dasehra-celebrations\/","title":{"rendered":"Pesident, PM Modi attend Dasehra celebrations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>New Delhi<br \/>\nArrows were fired to set the effigies of Ravana, Meghnad and Kumbhakarna ablaze at the Parade ground here on Friday, at an event attended by President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi among a host of other dignitaries.<\/p>\n<p>The burning of the giant effigies, signifying the triumph of good over evil, was organised by the Luv Kush Ram Leela Committee.<\/p>\n<p>PM Modi, President Kovind applied \u2018tilak\u2019 on the forehead of participants playing the role of Ram, Sita and Lakshman at the stage amid chants of Jai Shree Ram by the audience.<\/p>\n<p>Environment Minister Harsh Vardhan and Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari also attended the celebrations.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at the event, Kovind said the festival gives inspiration to lead an honest life.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to congratulate the people of the country on the occasion of Vijaydashmi.<\/p>\n<p>Vijaydashmi marks the victory of good over evil.
