{"id":44993,"date":"2018-10-21T09:55:19","date_gmt":"2018-10-21T09:55:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/?p=44993"},"modified":"2018-10-21T09:55:19","modified_gmt":"2018-10-21T09:55:19","slug":"surfer-punches-shark-to-escape-attack-at-australian-beach","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/surfer-punches-shark-to-escape-attack-at-australian-beach\/","title":{"rendered":"Surfer punches shark to escape attack at Australian beach"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A surfer who got bitten by a shark at an Australian nudist beach managed to make his break for freedom after punching the creature until it let him go, he said Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Paul Kenny was riding the waves off Samurai Beach, a naturist spot 200 kilometres (125 miles) north of Sydney, when he accidentally clashed heads with the toothsome fish, reportedly a wobbegong or a bull shark.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs soon as I did that he latched onto my arm and all I could do was punch it until it let go,\u201d Kenny, 50, told Sydney\u2019s Daily Telegraph.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I let go of it I saw its dorsal fin one metre away.
