\nDelhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday supported the Chandrababu Naidu government\u2019s move to withdraw the \u201cgeneral consent\u201d accorded to the CBI to conduct raids and carry out investigations in Andhra Pradesh.<\/p>\n
He also said AP Chief Minister Naidu should \u201cnot allow Income Tax officials to enter\u201d the state. The reason to withdraw the consent was after recent allegations against the top officials of country\u2019s premier investigation agency, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister N China Rajappa told reporters.<\/p>\n
Kejriwal, the national convener of the Aam Aadmi Party , accused the Modi government of misusing the Central Bureau of Investigation and the Income Tax department.
\n\u201cChandrababu did the right thing. Modi ji is misusing the CBI and the Income Tax department. Why did not the CBI catch scamsters of notebandi , Vijay Mallya, Rafale, Sahara Birla diary etc. Naidu ji do not allow Income Tax officials also to enter your state,\u201d Kejriwal said in a tweet.<\/p>\n
The ruling AAP in Delhi is a bitter critic of the central agencies that have in the past conducted raids against Kejriwal and his minister Satyendar Jain. Recently, the transport minister\u2019s residence was raided by the Income Tax department.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
