Actor Sridevi\u2019s special appearance in Shah Rukh Khan\u2019s film Zero will be the late actor\u2019s last appearance on the silver screen. Initially, there was speculation that she will be seen in a song, however, director Aanand L Rai and Shah Rukh confirmed that it was not a song, but a sequence.<\/p>\n
Shah Rukh Khan said, \u201cThat sequence is actually not a long sequence. It\u2019s not in any which way…it\u2019s not an \u201cItem\u201d presence, honestly. And it\u2019s wrong to even kind of feel, \u201cOh, it\u2019s a privilege to have had her in the film\u201d, because, you know, just the loss is so great. And I hope wherever she is, she makes the world happy like she\u2019s done. I kind of started my career when I came and did Army with her and then she\u2019s no more and I have a little scene with her, so it\u2019s heartening that way.\u201d<\/p>\n
He also added, \u201cThough, obviously, having said that, I wish she hadn\u2019t passed away. None of us wishes, we wish she was alive and it would\u2019ve been nicer. And now that you have mentioned it, I am just thinking, if we have a trial for the film, she would\u2019ve been the first person, I would\u2019ve called. So, it\u2019s sad.\u201d<\/p>\n
Director Aanand L Rai said to Pinkvilla, \u201cIt\u2019s not a song, it\u2019s a part of a sequence. People are saying it\u2019s a song but it\u2019s not. Including all other actresses, you will see Sri ma\u2019am in it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ahead of the film\u2019s release on December 21, the team of Zero has been busy promoting their films. Other than late actor Sridevi, Salman Khan will also be seen in a cameo.
