{"id":50635,"date":"2018-12-21T11:22:07","date_gmt":"2018-12-21T11:22:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/?p=50635"},"modified":"2018-12-21T11:22:18","modified_gmt":"2018-12-21T11:22:18","slug":"calcutta-high-court-allows-bjp-to-hold-rath-yatra","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/calcutta-high-court-allows-bjp-to-hold-rath-yatra\/","title":{"rendered":"Calcutta High Court allows BJP to hold Rath Yatra"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In a setback for Mamta Banerjee Govt in West Bengal, the Calcutta high court has allowed Bharatiya Janata Party to hold Rath Yatra in the state.<\/p>\n<p>The rath yatra, which was earlier scheduled to begin on December 7 will cover all the 42 Lok Sabha constituencies in West Bengal.<\/p>\n<p>The court has directed the administration to ensure that there is no breach of law and order.<\/p>\n<p>BJP has welcomed the verdict saying that the verdict has exposed West Bengal government&#8217;s real face to people.<\/p>\n<p>The BJP had filed a plea against the West Bengal government&#8217;s decision denying the party permission for the yatra.<\/p>\n<p>The West Bengal government had cited intelligence reports claiming thret to communal harmony as the reason for not granting the permission.<\/p>\n<p>The BJP, however, claimed that it&#8217;s the constitutional right of the party to hold processions and that the TMC-led West Bengal government was forcibly trying to stop it.<\/p>\n<p>A division bench of the Calcutta High Court had asked the state government to hold discussion with three BJP representatives.<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In a setback for Mamta Banerjee Govt in West Bengal, the Calcutta high court has allowed Bharatiya Janata Party to hold Rath Yatra in the state.
