Disclosing this here today during the press conference Mr. Prof. Dr. D.S. Meshram President, ITPI said that the experts and professionals from various parts of the country will deliberate the various issues concerning \u201cUrban Land Policies and City Planning\u201d and share their experiences specifically the successful stories during the three day Congress. He said that failure stories would also be shared, to understand as to why these challenges are occurring so as to take proper precautions while adopting the various technological innovations.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Meshram disclosed that Shri. V.P. Singh Badnore, Governor of Punjab would inaugurate Congress and deliver inaugural address on 4th January, 2019. Mr. Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa, Minister for Housing and Urban Development, Rural Development and Panchayats, Government of would be Guest of Honour along with Ms. Vini Mahajan, Additional Chief Secretary Department of Housing and Urban Development Punjab, during the Inaugural Session will address the delegates. After the inaugural session Mr. Balbir Singh Sidhu Animal Husbandry &amp; Dairy Development Minister Punjab would inaugurate an exhibition which is special attraction of the event.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Meshram further said that Shri. Vijay Inder Singla Minster for Public Works and Information &amp; Technology would preside over the Plenary Session on the theme \u2018Urban Land Policies &amp; City Planning\u2019 which would be held after the inaugural session from 12.30PM to 2.00 PM.<\/p>\n<p>On the first day Workshop on \u2018Policy for Industrial Development\u2019 would be held during which Shri. Charanjit Singh Channi Minister for Technical Education &amp; Industrial Training and Employment Generation, would be chief Guest.<\/p>\n<p>On second day of the Congress on 5th January, Morning session Workshop would be on \u2018Land Procurement Methods &amp; Redevelopment\u2019 during which Revenue Minister, Shri. Sukhbinder Singh Sarkaria would be chief guest. Afternoon Session would be held on \u2018Land Acquisition &amp; Assembly (Local Sub Theme) during which Shri.
