The programme was presided over by the Chairman of Markfed Mr. Amarjit Singh Samra.<\/p>\n<p>Disclosing this, an official spokesman said that on the occasion those employees of Markfed were also honoured who had become proud fathers of daughters during the past 1 year. The spokesman further said that during the course of the programme the Markfed employees performed Giddha and Bhangra on \u2018Dhola\u2019 which totally mesmerized the audience. Besides this, noted singer Bhupinder Babbal and Satinder Satti also held the audience spellbound with their soulful rendition of songs. The students of Guru Gobind Singh Girls College, Chandigarh enacted a play titled \u2018Gulbano\u2019 written by Veena Verma on the occasion. The play highlighted the plight of women in the society. It is also worth mentioning that the play has won Silver Medal in the Inter Zonal Youth Festival.<\/p>\n<p>In his address on the occasion, the Chairman of Markfed Mr. Amarjit Singh Samra said that held at the directions of the Cooperation Minister, S.
