{"id":5262,"date":"2017-09-18T12:19:55","date_gmt":"2017-09-18T12:19:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/punjabnews24.com\/?p=5262"},"modified":"2017-09-18T12:19:55","modified_gmt":"2017-09-18T12:19:55","slug":"tillerson-says-closing-us-embassy-in-cuba-under-review-following-mysterious-health-incidents-of-diplomats","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/tillerson-says-closing-us-embassy-in-cuba-under-review-following-mysterious-health-incidents-of-diplomats\/","title":{"rendered":"Tillerson says closing US embassy in Cuba \u2018under review\u2019 following mysterious health \u2018incidents\u2019 of diplomats"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Secretary of State Rex Tillerson says the Trump administration is considering closing down the US Embassy in Havana following unexplained incidents harming the health of American diplomats.<\/p>\n<p>Tillerson says \u201cwe have it under evaluation\u201d and that shuttering the embassy is \u201cunder review.\u201d He says the issue is \u201cvery serious\u201d regarding the harm some individuals have suffered.<\/p>\n<p>Tillerson, who spoke on CBS\u2019 \u201cFace the Nation\u201d ahead of President Donald Trump\u2019s trip to the UN General Assembly this coming week, notes that the State Department has brought home some of the people affected.<\/p>\n<p>At least 21 Americans have been medically confirmed to have suffered harm in Havana. Tillerson previously called it \u201chealth attacks\u201d but the State Department now prefers to call them \u201cincidents\u201d. The cause and culprit haven\u2019t been determined.<\/p>\n<p>In the fall of 2016, a series of US diplomats began suffering unexplained losses of hearing.
