He said that it was a known fact that Punjab became a haven for the gangsters and drug peddlers during the Akali rule. He said that these anti-social elements flourished under the patronage of Akali leaders, who openly used them to run a reign of terror in the state.<\/p>\n
The Minister said that it was unfortunate that instead of seeking apology from the people for these misdeeds the Sukhbir and his coterie was now leveling baseless allegations on the Congress leaders. He said that the wise people of the state were well aware of the dubious character of Sukhbir and his henchmen adding that they would never fall prey to such tantrums of Akalis. He said that people of the state have full faith in the dynamic and far sighted leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and under his leadership the state Congress would win all the 13 Lok Sabha seats in the state.<\/p>\n
The Minister also warned Sukhbir that he should not stoop too low for his vested political interests.
