{"id":53467,"date":"2019-01-25T11:30:57","date_gmt":"2019-01-25T11:30:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/?p=53467"},"modified":"2019-01-25T11:30:57","modified_gmt":"2019-01-25T11:30:57","slug":"delhi-police-arrests-two-jk-based-jaish-e-mohammed-terrorists","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/delhi-police-arrests-two-jk-based-jaish-e-mohammed-terrorists\/","title":{"rendered":"Delhi Police arrests two J&#038;K based Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Delhi Police has arrested two alleged Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists of Jammu and Kashmir who were planning to carry out terror strikes in New Delhi during Republic Day celebrations.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>DCP, Special Cell, Pramod Singh Kushwaha said, one of them was arrested with incriminating materials from Rajghat on the intervening night of 20-21of this month.<\/p>\n<p>He was the mastermind of the recent spree of throwing grenades in various parts of Jammu and Kashmir. The other was nabbed from Bandipora in Kashmir.<\/p>\n<p>The police team led by inspector Shiv Kumar and supervised by ACP Attar Singh arrested two Jammu and Kashmir-based terrorists, Abdul Latif Ganai and Hilal Ahmad. Ganai has been identified as the mastermind behind the recent series of grenade attacks in Srinagar. He was arrested from Central Delhi after a special cell of the police team received a tip-off. Police officers said Ganai was planning a similar terror attack in crowded areas across the national capital on Republic Day.<\/p>\n<p>Soon after receiving the tip-off, police rushed to Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday and seized two hand grenades, one semi-automatic pistol along with 26 live cartridges from the terrorists. Three rubber stamps of Commanders of Jaish-e-Mohammad have also been seized from them.<\/p>\n<p>The police officers are now interrogating Ganai to find out whether more terrorists are involved in the plot.
