{"id":5383,"date":"2017-09-19T12:32:03","date_gmt":"2017-09-19T12:32:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/punjabnews24.com\/?p=5383"},"modified":"2017-09-19T12:32:03","modified_gmt":"2017-09-19T12:32:03","slug":"govt-should-direct-affiliating-universities-not-to-charge-fees-of-sc-students-from-colleges-puca","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/govt-should-direct-affiliating-universities-not-to-charge-fees-of-sc-students-from-colleges-puca\/","title":{"rendered":"Govt. should direct affiliating Universities not to charge fees of SC Students from Colleges: PUCA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mohali<\/p>\n<p>Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA) has requested the Punjab government to instruct the affiliating Universities\/ Boards not to charge Registration fees, Examination fees or other Student Related Funds (SRF) from over 3 lakh SC students of Punjab for the session 2017-18.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Anshu Kataria, President, PUCA appraised the efforts of social welfare minister S Sadhu Singh Dharamsot for his regular follow up with the Central Ministers for pending amount of 1,269 Crore meant under various scholarship schemes of students.<\/p>\n<p>Kataria further urged Punjab Govt to instruct the Govt Universities including Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda; I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU), Jalandhar; Punjabi University, Patiala &amp; PSBTEIT Board not to pressurize Colleges to pay Registration fees, Examination fees or other Student Related Funds (SRF) for the SC\/OBC students of Punjab.<\/p>\n<p>S.
