{"id":54710,"date":"2019-02-11T10:35:13","date_gmt":"2019-02-11T10:35:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/?p=54710"},"modified":"2019-02-11T10:35:14","modified_gmt":"2019-02-11T10:35:14","slug":"turkey-calls-on-china-to-close-internment-camps-for-muslims","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/turkey-calls-on-china-to-close-internment-camps-for-muslims\/","title":{"rendered":"Turkey calls on China to close internment camps for Muslims"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Turkey called on China to close its internment camps for Muslims, saying the camps which reportedly hold a million ethnic Uighur people are a \u201cgreat shame for humanity\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last week, rights activists urged European and Muslim nations to take the lead in establishing a UN investigation into China\u2019s detention and \u201cforced indoctrination\u201d of up to one million Uighurs, who speak a Turkic-language, and other Muslims in Xinjiang province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The UN accuses China of detaining a million Uighurs, Kazakhs and people from other Muslim minorities in the region of Xinjiang.
