Kangana Ranaut, who officially turned director with her latest release, Manikarnika, has already announced her next directorial venture: She plans to bring her own life story to the big screen as and insists the project won\u2019t be a \u201cpropaganda\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With a script penned by Baahubali writer KV Vijayendra, who also wrote Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, the film is set to go on floors by the end of this year. According to the actor, Vijayendra \u201curged\u201d Kangana, around 12 weeks ago, to let him write a film based on her life. \u201cI was nervous and wary initially, but then, given his stature and the fact that I trust him implicitly, I gave Vijayendra sir the go-ahead on the project.\u201d Kangana said the film will focus on various aspects of her life but would not name people who have had differences with her in the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMy own story is the subject of my next directorial. But it is not a propaganda film with characters who are starkly black and white, rather it is a sincere, heartfelt account of my journey so far with plenty of lighter moments,\u201d Kangana said in a statement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHow can I show my journey without people, I can\u2019t be walking alone. But we will not be taking any names. The idea is to protect me and my life with all its highs and lows.
