Trashing\n Imran Khan\u2019s statement that India had no evidence of his country\u2019s \ninvolvement in the Pulwama terror attack on CRPF jawans, Punjab Chief \nMinister Captain Amarinder Singh on Tuesday asked angrily if the \nPakistan Prime Minister wanted New Delhi to send the bodies of the \nsoldiers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat proof is he talking about, should we take the \nbodies there? Masood Azhar is in Pakistan and doing things from there, \nand everyone knows it. Every day our soldiers are being killed at the \nLine of Control \u2013 so who\u2019s killing them?,\u201d asked the Chief Minister, \ndeclaring that the entire world knew what Pakistan was doing in Kashmir \nand other parts of India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They (Pakistan) were behind 26\/11 and \nIndia gave all the proof to them, but they did nothing, Captain \nAmarinder pointed out that even in the Rajasansi blast (Nirankari \nBhawan) a Pakistani grenade was used, clearly exposing their \ninvolvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDear @ImranKhanPTI you have Jaish chief Masood \nAzhar sitting in Bahawalpur & masterminding the attacks with ISI \nhelp. Go pick him up from there. If you can\u2019t let us know we\u2019ll do it \nfor you. BTW what has been done about the proofs of Mumbai\u2019s 26\/11 \nattack. Time to walk the talk,\u201d the Chief Minister later tweeted, in a \nhard-hitting response to Imran\u2019s statement at a press conference, which \nsmacked of defensiveness in the face of the global outcry at the Pulwama\n attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Imran is a `Courtesy ISI\u2019 prime minister, so how else \ncan one expect him to react, said the Chief Minister, asked by \nmediapersons to react to the Pakistani Prime Minister\u2019s statement on the\n Pulwama attack. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an informal chat with mediapersons after \nlaying the foundation stones of various projects here, Captain Amarinder\n said the Pakistani Prime Minister, along with their Army Chief General \nBajwa, were killing Indian soldiers and innocent people. India cannot \nand should not tolerate this, he said, reiterating that \u201cif they one of \nours, we should kill two.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier, addressing the gathering at \nthe foundation stone laying ceremony, the Chief Minister underlined the \nimportance of peace for development but said India needed to avenge the \nkillings of its soldiers. Surgical strikes could be one way, but it was \nup to the Centre to decide what course of action it should take, he \nsaid, making it clear that he was not in favour of war. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In \nresponse to another question, the Chief Minister lashed out at the \nAkalis during whose rule the sacrilege cases had threatened to disrupt \nthe state\u2019s peace and said nobody found guilty of these incidents would \nbe spared. At the same time, he appealed to the people to respect all \nreligions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Akalis, during their decade log regime, exploited \nthe farmers and put them to extreme hardship through tardy procurement \nand other anti-farmer policies, said the Chief Minister, adding that his\n government had successfully ensured three seamless back-to-back \nprocurements since taking over in March 2017.\n\n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
