{"id":55969,"date":"2019-02-27T11:14:48","date_gmt":"2019-02-27T11:14:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/?p=55969"},"modified":"2019-02-27T11:14:49","modified_gmt":"2019-02-27T11:14:49","slug":"agustawestland-rajiv-saxena-moves-court-to-become-approver","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/agustawestland-rajiv-saxena-moves-court-to-become-approver\/","title":{"rendered":"AgustaWestland: Rajiv Saxena moves court to become approver"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Dubai-based businessman Rajiv Saxena on Wednesday moved an \napplication in a Delhi court seeking to become an approver in the \nAgustaWestland VVIP chopper deal case.<\/strong><br><br>Special Judge \nArvind Kumar asked the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to file a response \non Saxena&#8217;s plea and listed it for hearing on Thursday.<br><br>Saxena \ntold the court in his application that he has co-operated in the \ninvestigation and disclosed the entire facts as known to him.<br><br>He said he will make a full disclosure of the case if he was granted pardon.<br><br>Saxena also told the court that he had moved the application on his free will.<br><br>He was granted bail on Monday. The ED did not oppose Saxena&#8217;s bail plea on medical grounds.<br><br>Saxena told the court that he was suffering from radiating back pain, numbness and heaviness in legs along with other ailments.<br><br>United\n Arab Emirates (UAE) security agencies picked Saxena from his Dubai \nresidence on January 30 and extradited him to India that night.<br><br>According\n to the ED, in connivance with lawyer Gautam Khaitan, Saxena provided a \ncorporate structure across the globe to laundered money for payment to \nvarious political leaders, bureaucrats and Indian Air Force officials to\n influence the contract for supplying 12 VVIP helicopters in favour of \nAgustaWestland.<br><br>Saxena&#8217;s name was mentioned in a chargesheet \nfiled against his wife Shivani, who has been out on bail after being \narrested by the ED.<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dubai-based businessman Rajiv Saxena on Wednesday moved an application in a Delhi court seeking to become an approver in the AgustaWestland VVIP chopper deal case.
