In an interaction with Ficci, he called \nupon the industry to pass on benefits of GST rate reduction to \nconsumers.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe finance minster said that the thrust of the \ngovernment is to lower the tax rate and increase the tax base and keep \nthe revenue collections moving up. He said the indirect tax collections \nwill further increase in future,\u201d a Finance Ministry statement said.
