{"id":56839,"date":"2019-03-12T11:28:06","date_gmt":"2019-03-12T11:28:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/?p=56839"},"modified":"2019-03-12T11:28:07","modified_gmt":"2019-03-12T11:28:07","slug":"vvip-choppers-case-ed-attaches-paris-property-of-michels-ex-wife","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/vvip-choppers-case-ed-attaches-paris-property-of-michels-ex-wife\/","title":{"rendered":"VVIP choppers case ED attaches Paris property of Michel\u2019s ex-wife"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Enforcement Directorate said on Monday it has attached a Paris-based property worth Rs 5.83 crore of the ex-wife of Christian Michel, the alleged middleman arrested in the VVIP choppers scam case, under the anti-money laundering law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It said a provisional order under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act has been issued to attach the asset at 45 Avenue, Victor Hugo in France and it is in the name of Ms SCI Solaime and belongs to Michel\u2019s ex-wife Valerie Michel. The Enforcement Directorate alleged that the woman had received \u201cproceeds of crime\u201d of this scam from the accused, Michel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The agency said its probe found that Michel \u201chad transferred the amount received as kickbacks to various entities, including euro 9,22,185.76 to his ex-wife Valerie Michel and subsequently to SCI Solaime for investment in purchase of the immovable property.\u201d Michel was extradited from the UAE in December last year and was arrested by the ED. He is in judicial custody.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Michel is among the three alleged middlemen being probed in the Rs 3,600-crore case by ED and CBI.
